Russia to ship out Irans enriched uranium in early 2016

Tehran, Oct 20, IRNA - A senior Russian official said that his country will begin exports of enriched uranium from Iran as early as next January or February.

'The main documents on Fordow and uranium have been worked out (and) the implementation of these measures will begin in late January or early February next year, if there are no surprises,' Vladimir Voronkov, head of the Russian delegation at the first meeting of the Joint Commission under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), told reporters in Vienna on Monday, Interfax reported.

The Joint Commission, comprising representatives of Iran, the Group 5+1, and the European Union (EU), is tasked with implementing the terms laid down in the JCPOA and its annexes.

He stressed all technical aspects have been studied in depth.

'As for the documents, I think this is a matter of several weeks,' Voronkov added.

'We are fulfilling our part of obligations at a good pace,' the Russian diplomat said.
